Freedom in design:
Plastic glazing is produced by plastic injection moulding. Since the shape of the part is given by the cavity, almost any kind of shape can be produced. Moreover, it is possible to produce glazing with different colours or gloss.

Examples of glazing with complex shapes:
(Quarterlites).
Modular opportunity:
Plastic glazing offers numerous opportunities for the application of plastic modules. Transparent plastic glazing has a high potential in automotive glazing by integrating intelligent fixing mechanisms, which significantly reduce assembly time for car makers.

Examples of wing mirror bases integrated in a plastic front vent.
Weight saving:
Due to its lower density (Around 1.2 compared to 2.5 for glass), plastic glazing can be used to reduce weight. Moreover, weight saving on top of a car body (such as a sunroof module) could help to lower the position of the car's centre of gravity and therefore, improve stability.
Security & Safety:
The plastic material (Polycarbonate) used to produce glazing has a very high impact resistance . This property makes this glazing almost unbreakable while remaining flexible.
