Innovating to improve design and aerodynamics

With the Super Alma project, Saint-Gobain Sekurit collaborates with Renault in order to create a vehicle that would consume only 2L/100km and thus, reduce CO2 emissions until 95g/km around 2020 (European objective). This project consists in reducing glazing's thickness and improving aerodynamics while enhancing vehicle's performances and ensuring the same services. For 20 years, Saint-Gobain Sekurit has also developed its expertise in polymer glazing that contributes to the weight reduction and the elaborated appearance.
